See the world’s tallest trees in a uniquely undisturbed landscape. Discover the diverse and fascinating ecosystems of the soft forest floor where Huckleberry, Redwood Sorrel, and Banana Slugs thrive and the lofty tops where Marbled Murrelets raise their young. Daily guided hiking adventures through the forests and along the beaches provide an excellent workout and are certain to leave you awestruck by the majestic beauty of Humboldt County.
Along the way, you’ll explore expansive coastal lagoons, and cross coastal tributary streams that support spawning populations of Salmon and Steelhead. You will pass meadows where Elk may pause to watch you pass; hike beaches where you are likely to find your own agate. Tide pool exploration will be an option. Local Coastwalk guides will lead the way through the mystical Fern Canyon and guide you over and around stunning Trinidad Head. This is a classic Coastwalk hiking and camping adventure at its best!
