Join us for a relaxing getaway to the San Mateo Coast, where we’ll hike a little, eat and drink well and laugh a lot! We’ll explore rugged coastal terrain, a historic lighthouse, the amazing Año Nuevo Preserve and visit a working farm or two. A special aspect of this Coastwalk will feature author Cornelia Read, who will lead a campfire discussion of her latest mystery novel. (There may be another author as well; arrangements not finalized at press time).We’re taking the book club out to the coast – and yes, it will be a real book club with the usual beverages! We’ll camp at Green Oaks Creek Farm both nights, so no need to pack up your tent each morning; and we’ll carpool to distant trailheads and attractions to keep the hiking comfortable and enjoyable.
This is a Coastwalk for women who like to be outdoors, but enjoy their conveniences, too. Plan now to join us on this unique journey and build new friendships and joyful memories of a wonderful time on the coast.
