Travel journal or nature journal? Whatever you choose to call it, a weekend at Jug Handle Creek Farm’s cozy hostel setting with experienced travel journalist/artist Janet Theilen will inspire you to make your own journal whether you are adept artist or beginner. Short hikes in Jug State Nature Reserve, a beautiful ocean cove and the farmhouse gardens will give ample opportunity for guided journaling exercises and quiet time.
The last day will include an optional trip to the town of Mendocino for art gallery touring. Shared fun, laughter and relaxation in an indoor setting are keys to Coastwalk trips such as this one. You’ll be led and fed by longtime Coastwalk leader Linda Hanes. Maximum limit of 20 participants in shared rooms with a variety of shared sleeping arrangements.
