The popular San Luis Obispo Coastwalk is back and better than ever! During the 5 nights and 6 days of this trip we will walk from Ragged Point, at the entrance to Big Sur through the newly opened trails inside Diablo Canyon.

Highlights will include 18 miles of newly acquired California Coastal Trail along the coastal bluffs of San Simeon State Park (formerly part of Hearst Ranch); a tour of Piedra Blanca Lighthouse, the elephant seal breeding grounds, charming Cambria, the newly opened Harmony Ranch, the coastal bluffs of Morro Bay, Morro Rock, and the spectacular pocket beaches of Montana de Oro State Park.
We are working with the California State Park Service to allow Coastwalkers to camp at grounds now unavailable to the general public. Enjoy the rugged bluffs, natural beauty, fascinating geology, and Chumash history of this coastline beneath the shadow of Hearst Castle. This is a partly strenuous trip with an average of 8 miles a day on mostly coastal beaches and bluffs. Maximum enrollment is 24 participants.
This popular walk is now FULL. Email or call to be added to the wait list!
