Ventura County is a land of history and beach walking, overlooked by the stunning Santa Monica Mountains with gorgeous panoramas of the Channel Islands. From Leo Carrillo State Park we will wind our way through various State Parks with a special stop at the Wishtoyo Foundation’s Chumash Village.
Our hikes may include short but rugged forays into the Santa Monica Mountains. A tour of the Ventura Harbor will include a stop at the Maritime Museum just a short walk away from McGrath State Beach which is currently slated for closure this summer!
Take this opportunity to hike in this amazing State Park! This is a moderate walk of 3-7 miles a day on mostly flat trail or beach, with perhaps some short, steeper trails included. Maximum enrollment is 25 participants.
