Bodega Dunes

The parking lot has an elevation of 6 feet. Located about a mile north of the town of Bodega Bay, turn left off Hwy 1 (when driving north) into the Bodega Dunes Campground entrance.  After going through the entrance kiosk and checking in with the Ranger, make the first right turn and follow the road until it terminates in a parking lot.  To get down to the beach follow the trail by the restrooms down to the ramp that gives access to the beach.   This beach can have large waves to keep you eyes open.  There are trash bins up by the parking lot next to the restrooms.  You will need to check with State Parks to find out whether the restrooms are open.
