ADOPT-A-BEACH

ADOPT-A-BEACH IS PART OF THE COASTWALK CLEANUP CREW PROGRAM THAT SUPPORTS ORGANIZATIONS WHO WANT TO PERFORM YEAR-ROUND CLEANUPS AND STEWARD THEIR FAVORITE BEACH. IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM ORGANIZATIONS MUST MAKE A ONE YEAR COMMITMENT AND PERFORM NO LESS THAN 8 CLEANUPS IN A ONE YEAR PERIOD. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST USE THE CLEANSWELL APP. TO RECORD THE MARINE DEBRIS REMOVED DURING THEIR CLEANUPS. Shell Beach

COASTWALK WELCOMES CONSERVATION WORKS TO THE ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM AND THEIR COMMITTMENT TO STEWARD SHELL BEACH ON THE SONOMA COAST. THE ADOPT-A-BEACH PROGRAM IS PART OF THE COASTWALK CLEANUP CREW.

Conservation Works is a local 501(3) nonprofit organization performing environmental education and action with youth and our community that involves on-the-ground change in habitat protection, water conservation, climate change, and healthy sustainable communities along the North Coast. We believe that it is the small actions done cumulatively that make the biggest positive difference for our environment and community. Our core programs include environmental education & youth leadership, habitat protection & restoration and sustainable agriculture & economic development.
