August 10-14, 2020
Walk on the trails, bluffs and coast from Diablo Canyon to Point Sal. Hike Rattlesnake Canyon Trail through beautiful and fascinating Diablo Canyon PG&E power plant land. Discover the newly opened Pismo Nature Reserve.
August 24-28, 2020
Camp all four nights in the forested bluffs of New Brighton State Beach and experience coastal and mountain hikes through old growth redwoods.
October 14-18, 2020
Camp all 4 nights at Moro Canyon Campground nestled within coastal sage scrub foot hills with spectacular ocean views at Crystal Cove State Park; experience one of Orange County’s largest remaining examples of open space and natural seashore.
Easy: Children ages 5-17 welcome with accompanying Adult, Guardian or Parent. Mostly level walks of 3-7 miles per day.
Moderate: Daily hiking averages 5-9 miles. Expect some elevation and/or sand walking. Children welcome with hike leader approval.
Strenuous: Significant Elevation gains and losses with mileage of 6-15 miles daily. Hike leader approval needed to register for most walks in this category.
