San Luis Obispo

This popular San Luis Obispo Coastwalk is back after selling out last year, so book early to reserve your spot! We will walk from Ragged Point at the entrance to Big Sur through the newly opened trails inside the Diablo Canyon nuclear reservation. Highlights include 18 miles of newly acquired CCT through Hearst Ranch, Piedras Blancas lighthouse, the elephant seal breeding grounds, San Simeon State Park, charming Cambria, Morro Bay, and the spectacular pocket beaches of Montana de Oro State Park. We are working with California State Park Services to allow Coastwalkers to camp at grounds now unavailable to the public. Enjoy the rugged bluffs, natural beauty, fascinating geology, and Chumash history beneath the shadow of Hearst Castle.

Guided, strenuous hiking, 6 to 11 miles per day along hard sand and level bluffs, 6 days/5 nights camping, 24 capacity.
