Hike rugged Catalina Island end to end  surrounded by wildflowers, roaming herds of bison and beauty just waiting to be photographed.  Take advantage of experienced Coastwalk guides on this challenging hike as they arrange transport for your gear and provide nightly appetizers along with stoves and fuel to cook your dinner with an  evening campfire program by the Catalina Island Conservancy.  We will visit the Wrigley Marine Science Center, enjoy lunch at the historic airport and an optional kayak paddle or ocean swim. There will be time to explore the small town of Avalon before our final celebratory dinner our provided by Coastwalk.

Guided, strenuous hiking, average 9 miles (shortest day 6mi., longest day 14 mi.) with elevation gains/losses; 6 days/5 nights camping plus dinner in Avalon, rest of meals not included, 16 capacity, must meet fitness/hiking experience requirements set by hike leaders. Please inquire with the Coastwalk Office for those requirements.
