Save the Chuckwagon UPDATE
Thank you to each and everyone of our donors who helped us to meet (and exceed!!) our fundraising goal of $5,000 for Chuckwagon repairs! Stay tuned for further updates and if you haven’t donated there is still a chance (and so many more things we can do!)
New Member of the Coastwalk Family
Coastwalk welcomed a new staff member in December 2013, Suzanne Schipper. Suzanne joins us as a part-time bookkeeper. She graduated many years ago with a degree in Psychology and Music Therapy. read more…

UPDATE: Volunteers joined Dailey Little of Healing Heart Reiki in Santa Rosa at South Salmon, Rangers were on hand to open the parking lot and help haul away the trash. A big thank you to our volunteers and State Park Rangers! We hope to see you all out there again soon!

Goodbyes at the Office
Two interns from Sonoma State University’s planning departments joined Coastwalk this past year. Their projects primarily involved database work on the Conservancy signage grant. Both wrapped up their internship hours over the summer, and we are thankful for all the work they put into Coastwalk. read more…

Recipe Corner- Mountain Pies
Ask anyone about their favorite memories of a Coastwalk and I guarantee at least one will recount memories of great meals around the campfire!
Our cooks are some of our most important volunteers, coming back to a hot delicious meal after a long day of hiking is one of the things that sets Coastwalk apart and above. Even with rising food costs, our cooks still manage to keep their meals under budget and provide quality food for all our hikers and volunteers. As more and more great meals were shared over the years, Coastwalk has often considered collecting recipes and putting together a Coastwalk cookbook. read more…
